2024 is the 15th anniversary of Transgender Day of Visibility. Created by Rachel Crandall-Crocker, founder of non profit advocacy group, Transgender Michigan. TDOV is a day to celebrate transgender lives, experiences, their existence, and so much more.
We want you to celebrate the trans people in your lives today and everyday. Support them, give them love, and be present for them. We’re living in a time where people are actively trying to eradicate trans kids and adults by removing access to healthcare, education, and freedom and using tactics like intimidation to silence them. We will not be silenced. We will not stand for this bigotry. Not today, not any day.
