Chinese Medicine
Chinese Medicine is a BIPOC/Trans-fronted punk band from Toronto, Canada. The band’s first EP, Die Aspora, was produced by Alexisonfire’s Wade MacNeil and recorded by Ian Romano (City & Colour, Daniel Romano, Attack in Black). Formed by members Juno Hailey (Vocals/Guitar), Andrew Pearson (Guitar), Jack-James Lemaire (Bass) & Stefan Hegerat (Drums). Blending their influences from 80s and modern post-punk, they create a familiar yet refreshing sound that unlocks a primal fury in their listeners. They’ve built a reputation for their explosive and politically charged live shows. This has led to them opening for international bands such as Spaced & Pink Shift and being a featured artist at NXNE 2023 + 2024. Twin Fang Records will release their new music in 2025.
