Mars Aspen’s new single Pest Control explores the complexities of queer relationships and the painstaking process of digging into the reasons why some of them simply (or catastrophically) end. Is it me? Is it them? Who’s to blame when things go south? Pest Control combines feelings of love lost and the insecurities that follow. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Lizzy McAlpine, Daffo, and dodie, Mars Aspen’s unique vocals and calming instrumentation lures the listener in and traps them in their web.

careful, critter

come on, quicker

let me lure you in
